When I was a well-known humor columnist of a little-known neighborhood, I used to give away imaginary awards every quarter. I used to call them the Oohscare and Crummy Awards.

I decided I would do the same this year too...in reminiscence of the year that went by...

I will begin with a couple and update with more...

The Time magazine, I hear is still debating about the face that should adorn its front cover as the "Person of the Year".

My choice is simple - Osama Bin Laden. And the first award for 2001 -THE NO GREAT SHEIKS AWARD- will go to Osama Bin Laden and Mullah Omar - the sheiks who shook the world.

My next award: The "ACCESSORIES-NOT-SHOWN-IN-THIS-PROGRAM-ARE-PART-OF-THE-STANDARD-EQUIPMENT-AWARD" goes to FTV...er...can't explain more about this award in this forum.
